Loved the last link to Kathleen Parker. I've been saying it for years, but no one paid attention. And I'm a Christian, but I believe very strongly in freedom of religion that too many of my fellows only pay lip service to -- they only want freedom for *their* religion. There's no place for such narrow-mindedness in a free nation.

@ Dolly ann -- I like the way you addressed each link. Especially fuck you Bush x2. :-) I actually don't know anything about Kathleen Parker, but I agree with what you said. Slow change in a rapidly globalizing world isn't a good thing.

@ Evilslutclique -- No problem. I wish I could ignore her too.

Link 1: I reserve my right to be unhappy. *grabs remote*

Link 2: With my black p-coat and Gryfinndor scarf I look like a Hogwarts student!

Link 3: Kudos to the Sluts for catching this. Palin is a disgrace.

Link 4: Fuck u, Bush x 2.

Link 5: I'm not a huge fan of Kathleen Parker, but I think she is getting at the right idea here. The homogeneous nature of the Republican party isn't appealing to a generation that was born with feminist, antiracist, and LGBT movements already in gear. Whether the people in this generation actually are feminist, antiracist, etc. isn't the point. Just the presense of these things has altered our mindsets significantly, and the GOP's gotta play catch-up. Christianity is also slow to change in a rapidly changing world. I think it's struggling to share its space with other world religions.
