I want to reflect for a moment on this historic Presidential campaign. Instead of commenting, I will just post some pictures that speak to me.
Special thanks to Evil Slutopia, Shakesville, Donklephant, and Yes We Can (Hold Babies) for many of these photographs.
If you’re curious my opinion on John McCain and Sarah Palin…
Do you have any favorite moments of the election? Last minute thoughts on your favorite candidate? Please share.

I love Obama/babyorlittlekid photos. I know they’re convenient photo ops, but there’s something actually *sincere* about Obama’s. I swear, every time I see a black man/boy look into Obama’s eyes, I want to cry. It’s like Obama’s transformed the meaning of hope for them. It’s not an empty word. I believe I read a quote somewhere that said something along the lines of Obama has emerged as a figure for these guys (indeed, I believe, all of us) that there is truth to Martin Luther King Jr’s words. Only 5 more days guys! We gotta win this one!
I adooore these pictures too. So charming & adorable.
