Three Cheers for Obama-Biden!
I don’t have time to say much, but I am really excited about this pairing. Biden has a lot of experience (especially in foreign policy) and as my dad likes to say, “He could win any debate.”

“Rudy Giuliani — there’s only three things he mentions in a sentence: a noun and a verb and 9/11. I mean, there’s nothing else.” - Senator Biden

Eh, I don’t know how happy I am with Biden as a running mate. He seems pretty sexist to me. Like, the way he recently joked about his “gorgeous” wife with her “dangerous” PhD. I guess I could be looking into it too much, but it seemed to be a cheap way to get laughs. Plus, I heard he said something about Obama being the first “articulate” African American man and also being “nice looking.” Maybe I’m just disappointed Sebelius didn’t get the VP spot.
Still, I guess it’s good that Obama knows how many homes he owns.

I didn’t hear about that joke actually. Kind of sounds like McCain, there. Jeez. I feel like men of that generation are often like that…my dad makes some jokes like that and I have to kick him under the dinner table. :-P
Either way, I’m gonna do a longer post soon about Biden’s pros & cons, so I’ll look up more about what you mentioned.
Looking forward to it! Here’s the link where I found it…http://shakespearessister.blogspot.com/2008/08/biden-has-gorgeous-wife-with-doctorate.html. They’re staunchly leftist over there, so there is a bit of bias, but I still couldn’t find what he said funny, even when giving a look at it with objective intentions.
Then again, I heard something today about how he takes care of his two sons, one of whom was permanently injured in some accident. I don’t know… I’m looking forward to the list though! :D
